氧化铬绿介绍

      氧化铬绿Cr2O3为六方晶系列或无定形橄榄绿色粉末，有金属光泽。比重5.21，熔点2266±25，沸点4000。不溶于水和酸，可溶于热的碱金属溴酸盐溶液中，稍溶于浓氢氧化钠溶液。对光、大气、高温及腐蚀性气体（SO2、H2S等）极稳定，有很高的遮盖力，具有磁性。有金属光泽，具有磁性，遮盖力强，耐高温，耐日晒，在大气中比较稳定，对一般浓度的酸和碱及气体无影响，具有优良突出的颜料品质和坚牢度。应储存在干燥处，防止受潮，防酸雾，防晒。应与食品隔离储存。氧化铬绿主要用于冶炼金属铬和碳化铬、陶瓷、研磨、抛光、涂料及油墨等工业。

氧化铬绿用途

      主要用途分冶金、颜料、磨料、耐火材料及新发展起来的溶喷涂料5类。

      1.冶金（铝热法制金属铬）用三氧化二铬占产量比例较大。

      2.作为绿色颜料用于涂料、油墨、陶瓷、搪瓷、彩色水泥。氧化铬绿类似叶绿素反射红外线，用于配制类似绿色树叶簇的伪装涂料。

      3.作为研磨剂，用于机械、仪器、仪表、钟表及滚珠轴承的研磨、抛光。直接用作耐火材料，或与氧化镁、氧化铝等制成复合耐火材料。

      4.作为熔喷涂料借助等离子体直接喷涂到金属、陶瓷表面，赋予后者极高的耐磨性、耐蚀性和耐高温性。

      5.三氧化二铬还用作催化剂及其载体，用于制作复合氧化物（包括含三氧化二铬的非绿色颜料）以及作为原料制取铬的碳、氮、硼、硅化物。较新的纳米材料纳米三氧化二铬更具有优异性能和特殊用途。

      冶炼金属铬和碳化铬，搪瓷、陶瓷、玻璃、人造革、耐火材料、建筑材料的着色、有机合成的催化剂、制造耐晒材料和印刷纸币的专用油墨、金属抛光研磨材料、金属表面渗铬、磁性材料等。用于涂料、陶瓷、橡胶、美术颜料、以及伪装涂料等。

5. Chromium trioxide used as catalyst and its carrier, also used to make composite oxide (including the green paint containing chromium trioxide) and as a raw material for making carbon, nitrogen, boron, chromium silicide.
