红柱石介绍

      红柱石是一种天然的晶体材料，也是一种节能耐火材料，使用前无需煅烧，高纯度和同一性是它的主要特点。作为定形或不定形的耐火材料，在恶劣条件下性能良好，所以在要求高温、机械强度和化学冲击的行业中广泛应用。红柱石是生产高铝的主要矿物原料，又是高级耐火材料，红柱石精矿粉在1790℃高温下性能稳定，机械强度高，体积膨胀极微，耐酸侵蚀等优越性，并含有少量刚玉，微量蓝晶石及硅线石和二氧化钛，TiO2在高温下生成耐火强度高的钛酸铝化合物，广泛用于高炉、热风炉铁汤料。做耐火材料，也可用于建材、玻璃、窑具等更多领域。除用作冶炼工业的高级耐火材料，技术陶瓷工业的原料以外，还可冶炼高强度轻质硅铝合金，制作金属纤维以及超音速飞机和宇宙飞船的导向型之用。

红柱石用途

      红柱石煅烧后制成型材，可用于热风炉、热风塔、再热炒等关键部位，也可用于各种辅助性浇注和操作设备、还可以制作窑炉设施、高温铝硅酸盐绝缘体、翻砂模面料。使用红柱石制成的耐火纤维作炉衬，比之耐火土或轻质砖炉衬可节能30～50%。利用红柱石耐火砖除可减少燃料消耗，增加稳定性外，还可节约40%以上一般耐火材料的消耗。

      因红柱石Al2O3含量高，铁、钛和钙等氧化物杂质含量低，用于生产含铝60%的硅铝合金时，可以不用氧化铝，即可简化生产程序又可提高生产工效。是生产硅铝合金、氧化铝和铝金属的原料。是提取铝、制造高强度轻质合金、高级耐火材料、陶瓷、电缆、合成莫来石等的矿物原料。

      红柱石是优质耐火材料之一，它除用作冶炼工业的高级耐火材料，陶瓷工业的原料以外，还可冶炼高强度轻质硅铝合金，制作金属纤维以及超音速飞机和宇宙飞船的导向型之用。据报导，利用红柱石进行煤的气化和制作雷达天线罩；也可制作工艺品和装饰品；其应用领域还在不断扩大。
